Lux Miracle Fractional Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing is a unique method which delivers excellent results. While leaving the stratum corneum in place, Lux1540 microbeams penetrate deeper into the epidermis and dermis than competing devices for effective, long-term results. The fractional, non-ablative approach stimulates quick healing, with no lasting redness.

Fractional Non-Ablative Treatments include Pigmented Lesions, more commonly known as sunspots, age spots or liver spots and overall browning of the skin will be treated with the Photorejuvation light pulse. It is directly absorbed by the pigment in the lesion. The light heats the pigment and breaks it up. The lesion darkens and crusts after treatment and is naturally shed from the skin after approximately ten days.

Photorejuvenation light pulses heat the small capillaries that cause telangiectasia, rosacea and other vascular lesions. Lux Miracle Fractional Treatment is different from other Skin Resurfacing Methods. Non-Ablative Method Many devices use the non-ablative method: sending light pulses into the dermis, while leaving the epidermis in place. This allows quick recovery.

The Lux Miracle Rejuvenation Process

How Lux Miracle works: The Photorejuvenation Process is performed by Palomar Pulsed Light Systems. Pulsed light systems are similar to lasers but with a larger beam for wider coverage and faster, more comfortable treatments. During Photorejuvenation treatments, pulses of filtered light are directed onto the skin and absorbed by the melanin for pigmented lesions and by the blood for vascular lesions.

The Lux Miracle System uses the Lux1540™ Fractional Non-Ablative Laser Handpiece to deliver light as an array of microbeams, which create columns of coagulated tissue within the skin. Creation of the columns starts a natural healing process that forms new, healthy tissue. This results in more youthful-looking skin.

The Lux Miracle Handpiece delivers infrared light deep into the skin, which causes soft tissue coagulation. This leads to generation of new tissue, reducing the appearance of skin laxity. The treatment uses a fractional approach to create columns of deep heating, surrounded by intact skin. The heated areas induce the body’s natural healing response.

The LuxDeepIR Handpiece also uses patented 3-stage Contact Cooling. It cools the skin before, during, and after each light pulse to increase comfort and safety during treatment.

Will Photorejuvenation Treatments Hurt? Photorejuvenation uses a unique long pulsewidth that delivers energy to the skin over a relatively long period of time without overheating the epidermis. This makes the pulses safer and more comfortable. You may experience a feeling similar to that of a rubber band being snapped on the skin, but most people do not report this sensation as painful.
Are There Any Adverse Reactions to Treatment? You may experience temporary redness and a mild “sunburn”- like effect that may last a few hours to a few days.
What should I expect after treatment?
	Some redness, warmth, swelling, or tightness in the treated area, which usually fades within a few hours of treatment.
	Quick healing process. Generally, you can receive a treatment and go back to work or to other activities with very little recovery time; often people notice positive changes within a few days.
